Skills.
Project Management
As an intern working as a Coordinator for the Dickinson College Eco-Reps Program, I provided administrative support to 35 students, faculty, and staff and helped them design sustainability initiatives across campus. I further grew my skills in managing various projects as a Communications and Operations intern at Lovin' Spoonfuls food rescue.
Collaboration
My collaboration skills have grown primarily through my research experiences and as an Eco-Rep Coordinator. I am comfortable working in creative, professional office environments and in the field with stakeholders ranging from government officials to small business owners.
Research
I have critically analyzed systems from conservation agriculture to community resilience both in the United States and internationally. My research skills include various data collection techniques, facilitating interviews, ArcGIS, and community engagement
Next Steps
Next Steps
I hope to apply these skills in a setting where I can be involved in research as well as environmental policy. I have accumulated knowledge in environmental policy throughout my coursework, so I believe that the combination of that knowledge with my research and administrative skills have prepared me for working in a professional environmental policy-based position. I aspire to attend graduate school 5 years from now to continue the study of the environment, human health, and policy.
